Tornado

As some of you may know, a terrible tornado blew through our town yesterday. There was major damage in a couple of places. My family and I are well. Thankfully there were no deaths, but many injuries for some residents. If you all would just please keep those people affected by this in your thoughts and prayers.

Today is my sister Judi's birthday. Unfortunately she lives in California and I don't get to see her as much as I'd like. And while we've had our ups and downs, she will always be my sister and she always be a gift to me. I love her very much!! Marisas New Room

Marisa has decided she wants a Japanese themed bedroom. Do you know hard it is to find ideas for that? I've googled so many searchs, that I think I've run my limit lol Found this really nice looking comforter on Domestications, but not real sure she likes it. If anyone has any ideas, please, please, please let me know.

Spring Is Here

So today we got the area all cleaned up for the garden, of course, with Buck doing all the muscle work. It'll be nice to be able to enjoy some fresh veggies again. Unfortunately I'm the only one who likes them :( Got a ton of ivy pulled away from the house, who knew that stuff grew so crazy? Tomorrow gets to be a fun work day. Mom is coming over so we can try and make some jewelry. We've been really slack with that recently, mostly my fault. What with the kids, work, the Humane Society, haven't had a whole lot of free time. Think we're going to have to take a day trip shopping one day.

I'm Back!

So, it's been a long couple of weeks without blogging. Things have been a little busy around here, plus we had a major computer snafoo. But I'm back now. Josh took his ACT's this weekend,hopefully he'll get a good score.

I/we also registered for the Humane Society's 1st Annual Mutt Strut. Our ultimate goal is to have a no-kill shelter in Suffolk, what a great thing that would be! Gonna post the page, so please visit it. I'm thinking of having a fundraiser where i'll be auctioning off a CJ Creations original jewelry piece.
